Construction dust does not get cleaned once. It gets cleaned in stages.
Post construction cleaning is a different job from every other cleaning, because the dust is not sitting on surfaces. It is suspended, and it keeps landing for days after the work stops.
If something is not right, tell us within 24 hours of your cleaning and we come back to redo it.
Drywall dust is finer than household dust and behaves differently. It gets into the air, settles slowly, and reaches places nothing else reaches: the top of door frames, the inside of vent covers, the tracks of windows, the tops of cabinets, light fixtures, and the fibers of anything soft that was in the room.
Clean it once and the house looks finished. Two days later the counters are gray again, because what was still in the air came down.
That is why a real post construction cleaning is staged. Anyone who quotes it as a single visit is quoting the visible layer.
A vent cover, mid detail passFor a single room the three stages can happen close together. For a full renovation they should not, and we will say so.
Debris removal, stickers, adhesive residue, paint spots on glass and hardware, the heavy layer off every horizontal surface. This is the pass that makes the space workable.
We let the airborne dust come down. Skipping this is the reason most post renovation cleaning fails.
Everything again, top down: light fixtures and fan blades, vent covers, door frame tops, cabinet interiors and tops, window tracks and sills, baseboards, hardware, glass, and floors last.

Cabinet interiors and tops, counters and backsplash, appliance exteriors and interiors, sinks and fixtures, tub and shower, tile, mirrors and glass.

The most common scheduling mistake is booking the cleaning for the day after the last trade finishes and expecting a finished house that evening.
Tell us the real end date of the work, including punch list items, and we will place the stages so the final pass is genuinely final. If someone still has to come back and drill one hole, that hole undoes a detail pass.
