House Cleaning Prices in Metro Atlanta, Explained

Most cleaning companies will not tell you what anything costs until you are on the phone with them.

We would rather explain it here. This page covers what actually moves house cleaning prices, what does not, and what you get at every level, so you can work out roughly where your home lands before you talk to anyone.

Tell us the size, the bathrooms and the service.
No obligation. You get a real number, not a range that changes on the day.
The job, not the clock

Why We Do Not Price House Cleaning by the Hour

An hourly rate tells you what you are paying for time. It tells you nothing about what gets cleaned.

Two hours of cleaning can mean the whole checklist done properly, or it can mean the visible surfaces wiped and the clock running out before anyone reaches the top of the refrigerator. Same price, completely different service, and you only find out afterward.

So our house cleaning prices are built around the job, not the clock. You know what is included before we arrive, and if the work takes us longer than expected, that is our problem and not your invoice.

Five factors

What Actually Changes House Cleaning Prices

Size of the home

The strongest single factor, but not the only one and not by itself decisive.

Number of bathrooms

More important than square footage in most homes. A bathroom is the most labor-dense room in a house, and two homes of identical size with two and four bathrooms are two different jobs.

Condition when we start

A home that has been maintained and one that has not are priced differently, and honestly this is where most quotes go wrong elsewhere. We would rather look first.

How often we come

Weekly costs less per visit than monthly, because there is less to recover each time. This is the one factor you control directly.

What is included

Interiors of appliances, interiors of cabinets, inside the refrigerator, laundry: these are add-ons, not assumptions, and they are stated in the quote either way.

What does not change it

The day of the week, whether you are home, and how urgently you need it. We do not price by urgency.

For reference, published house cleaning rates in Georgia put the Metro Atlanta market between roughly $25 and $50 per hour per cleaner, which for a three bedroom home usually lands in the low to mid hundreds for a standard visit. We are not the lowest number in that band and we do not try to be. What we are is the company that tells you what the number covers.

The factor you control

Why the Frequency You Choose Moves the Number Most

The gap between a weekly and a monthly visit is not four times the work. It is more than that.

A home cleaned weekly never accumulates. Nothing has to be recovered, so each visit is maintenance. A home cleaned every two months accumulates for eight weeks, and every visit spends part of itself catching up before the actual cleaning starts.

That is why recurring pricing drops as frequency rises, and it is also why we sometimes recommend a deep cleaning first and then a lighter recurring plan. It usually costs less over a year than paying for a heavy visit forever.

Never on the invoice

What Is Never on the Invoice

  • No charge for the preferences form or the first walkthrough conversation.
  • No charge for choosing your Mint Note or for choosing Note-Free.
  • No charge for coming back. If something is not right, tell us within 24 hours of your cleaning and we come back to redo it, at no cost.
  • No surprise line items. If a home turns out to be significantly different from what was described, we tell you before we start, not after we finish.
Not a starting-at number

Getting a Real Number, Not a Starting-At House Cleaning Price

Fill out the form with the size of the home, the number of bathrooms and the service you want. We will come back with a quote for your home rather than a starting-at number that changes on the day.

If the honest answer is that you need less than you asked for, we will say that too.

Questions

Questions About House Cleaning Prices

How much does house cleaning cost in Metro Atlanta?
Published market data puts Metro Atlanta between roughly $25 and $50 per hour per cleaner, which for a three bedroom home generally lands in the low to mid hundreds for a standard visit. The exact number depends on size, number of bathrooms, condition and frequency.
How much should it cost to clean a 2,000 square foot house?
Square footage alone does not answer it. A 2,000 square foot home with two bathrooms and one cleaned every week is a very different job from the same size home with four bathrooms cleaned twice a year.
Is $50 an hour good for house cleaning?
It is within the normal Metro Atlanta band. The more useful question is what the hour covers, because an hourly rate does not tell you whether the checklist gets finished.
Why is the first cleaning more expensive?
Because the first visit usually has to recover accumulated buildup before maintenance can start. After that, recurring visits are lighter and priced accordingly.
Do you charge extra for pets?
No. Tell us on the preferences form so we know what to expect and how they should be handled.
Do prices change if I am not home?
No. Being home or not changes nothing about the price.
